Wallowa, Oregon - Nyoda Mae (Collins) Scott went to meet her Lord, May 15, 2026. She was greeted by her parents, Will and Ona Collins; sister, Ruth Fischer; brothers, George and Kenneth and husband, Don Scott.
June 7, 1953, Nyoda married Donald Glen Scott in Wallowa. Together they raised 3 daughters and a foster son and ran their farm and Scott's sawmill until his death in 1995.
Nyoda leaves behind daughters Kim and husband Brian Sines, Vicqui and husband Archie Hook, Terri and husband John Tye; foster son, John Osborn and wife Audrey; 9 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren, and many special nieces and nephews.
Her final resting place will be on Powwatka Ridge in her family cemetery, near her childhood home in Wallowa County. She requested no funeral service.
