Hermiston, Oregon - Carol D. Murphy-Blackburn, 73, of Hermiston, formerly of La Grande, passed away on Wednesday, July 29, 2026 at Kadlec Regional Medical Center in Richland, WA. Family and friends are invited to gather for a Viewing on Thursday, August 6, 2026, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Loveland Funeral Chapel. A second Viewing will take place the following morning, Friday, August 7, 2026, from 9:00 AM to 9:50 AM at the Hermiston Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Chapel, 1035 SE 9th Street, with the funeral service beginning at 10:00 AM. A luncheon will be provided after the service. Interment will follow with a Graveside Service at 3:00 PM at the Island City Cemetery. Family and Friends are invited to a dinner after the graveside service at the Island City Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. A full obituary will be published at a later time.
